
Sosa, David
In his role at Rivian, David works alongside an incredibly talented technical team who specialize in the testing and validating the Rivian specific repair processes and procedures. Before joining the Research & Development team David worked as a Collision Repair, Technical Specialist developing the Rivian-specific repair procedures, guidelines, and position statements. Prior to joining Rivian, David was the Program Manager for the BMW Certified Collision Repair Center (CCRC) Program. In this role he launched the expansion of the certified program to independent repair facilities. This expansion allowed for the exponential growth of the certified network and certified repairs for BMW Group vehicles. Additional responsibilities of the role included supporting the Insurance Partnership Program, organizing technical workshops, speaking at industry events, and co-hosting the yearly CCRC conference. Prior to BMW, David worked at Dekra NA as a Regional Collision Insurance Manager supporting the same BMW CCRC network. He has also worked as a collision repair technician at New Century BMW and attended the BMW Service Technician Education Program (STEP) for collision repair.
